History: Nick had had a pretty unhappy childhood, and he doesn't like talking about it to anyone because it brings back bad memories. Nick was extremely close to his father and considered him one of the best people alive. It really got to him when his father died a week after his son's sixth birthday in a railway accident, and his mother seemed to have fallen into a deep depression. It was like his mother had become numb to any feeling, after his father's funeral he hardly saw her smile or have fun. Nick felt alone, as his family had always been close and now that his father was gone he and his mother hardly did anything together anymore.

His mother, Ann, earned money by being a tutor to children in Praz Town, where he grew up. He had a few neighbors that had kids, but he never really wanted to talk to them. He spent most of his time near the pond and the tall grass with friendly pokemon. That was when he decided he wanted to be a Pokemon trainer someday. He grew up and started to see people younger than him leave on their on adventures. He envied them, but he couldn't do anything about him. He was worried his mother would do something to herself if he left her, so he had to stay with her a little longer than he planned.

When he turned seventeen his uncle came home for his birthday. His uncle had been a pokemon trainer for a long time now, but he was finally going to settle in one place so that Nick could have his go at being a trainer. He received a Charmander from his uncle as a gift and everything he needed, a pokedex and five pokeballs. He spent his birthday with his family and the next day he was going to set off. His first destination would be the meadows to level up and to catch new pokemon. This was going to be incredible.

Personality: Nick is a very reserved person. He likes doing things his way and likes doing things alone. He won't deny that every now and then he enjoys some company, but for the most part he likes being on his own. He's especially rude to people who think they're funny or try to seem cool. The only creatures he actually likes talking to are his pokemon. He's not exactly the nicest guy and can be pretty sarcastic, but if he finds you worthy he'll be nice and friendly. He's also a little overconfident in himself and he's not afraid to let others know how awesome he is.
