History: It is the bridge between the modern world and the past, a chilly town on the mountainside. It is the core of family values, tradition, and preserving history in the entire Sinnoh Region. If you grow up here, chances are, you're never going to have the desire to leave. Never travel. Live peacefully on the mountain, in tune with nature and your family, where your neighbors are your friends and your friends are family. It sounds great. Quaint, peaceful, and serene. It truly did, to Maggy Violett.

Married at the young age of nineteen, to a man five years older, Maggy was going to follow in the footsteps of her mother. And grandmother. And great-grandmother. And great-grandmother's grandmother's grandmother. Marry a hard-working man, care for your family, and then die, leaving your descendants to the practice. Maggy was prepared to do just that, too. Until her twenty-sixth birthday, when her husband didn't return home from work. And it was common knowledge that when a Celestic Townsman doesn't come home, the mountain's harsh conditions were to conquer him before he could be saved. It was how life was.

Devastated, Maggie left Celestic Town. It wasn't too late to find herself, or a journey that many other people participated in their youth. As she was about to leave, she realized; her Pokemon, Machoke and Glaceon, had been with her husband, working. They were lost forever to her, and so was his trio of Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, and Hitmontop. It was only her and her Lopunny, who left to explore the Sinnoh Region, no longer prisoners --- as she concluded --- to her old life.

Throughout the years, Maggy had conquered the Sinnoh Region, with a total of 7 gym badges. She then traveled to Johto, where her, Lopunny, Alakazam, and Miltank decided that battling wasn't what she wanted. Instead, she became a Pokemon breeder, traveling the Kanto, Unova, and Hoenn regions and studying Pokemon in years to come. But now, at 56 years old, the elderly woman isn't ready to call it quits. Her three Pokemon are back in Celestic Town, for their well-deserved retirement. And Maggy is ready to start anew, in the appealing region of Elix.

Personality: Maggy is a calm, kind old woman, who modestly dispells those who claim she is a fountain of both knowledge and wisdom. She handles situations level-headedly, and detests those who show any level of impatience or haste. Some would say it came with old age, but Maggy has always been a calm persona, even when facing crisis. She has learned to laugh in the face of danger, and use her wit and carefree personality to wipe the smirk off of the sarcastic, and brighten up the point of views of the pessimistic. Her cheery, bright disposition is relished by those around her, and her determination to travel and learn is enough to motivate even those with the lowest self-esteem.

Not only is she a caring, serene person, she is also extremely generous in the sense that she will give a helping hand to any who are in need of it. Many have been touched by the old lady, but only few know of the true Maggy, who is still mourning her losses from 30 years ago. Although she is a happy spirit, she is prone to distant stares into space and the occasional grimace.
