It was really hot day in Altome. The moment you walked out on the street, the rays seemed to be trying to beat you down into the sidewalk, where the sun would burn you to a crisp! Nobody wanted to be out today, but for those unlucky few, they had to get out and do their jobs. Some pokemon were out as well, but a lot had stayed up in their little resting places, hoping it would cool as the day went by. Even as the weather was uncomfortably warm, some pokemon had gotten out just to see if they could achieve anything or get something done; which was a bad idea.
That didn't keep a little Skitty down!
The Kitten Pokemon pranced around like nothing was wrong, and it actually enjoyed catching a few rays. The pokemon was out of luck in finding food or water nearby and it didn't want to walk all the way back to the outskirts of town; even if there was some berries and pond there. It saw a girl and her Eevee, and thought it would try its luck. It ran out quickly, because the Skitty tripped over its own feet and fell down; finally giving up near the girl, the Skitty rolled over and the sun began wearing it down, energy and all, and began crying out, a desperate call for help.
